Small oil paintings on frosted mylar exploring the interplay between figures and domestic landscapes. I experimented with new strategies of inventing chaos and determining order—the backside of the mylar was painted first, each “canvas” was subsequently cut from the large sheet at random. Thus I was challenged with composing a scene in harmony with the general noise I had already created. So it was a process filled with many surprises.
